Should I shut down my hot tub every year?
We do not recommend draining and shutting tubs down for several reasons including but not limited to:
- Running the risk of seals drying out
- Glue drying out
- Residual water in pipes freezing
- Moisture building up on electronics.
- Water accumulating in the pipes is stagnant and can lead to algae growth.
It's best to keep your hot tub filled and running.
